1. Identify the areas of biggest cost savings in asset management and focus your energy in this area.
2. Find out the details of the asset management decisions currently taken
3. Find out what other information and in which form the decision makers want to see
4. Find out a way to extract the data that would create the information needs
5. Present the information in a format which is easy to understand.
